Winter Guard

Winter Guard is a competitive, performance-based activity that incorporates choreographed staging, dance, and use of flags, prop rifles, and sabres. Members perform to recorded music, and - like indoor drumline - the show is designed to tell a story. The Chattahoochee High School Winter Guard ensemble competes in judged regional competitions organized by SAPA - Southern Association of Performing Arts.

The Chattahoochee High School Winter Guard program is directed by Alexandria Davies. Consistently competitive in their division, they were honored to win a Bronze Medal in the Scholastic A division, even in the midst of COVID restrictions. Auditions are held in November of each year, and the group welcomes anyone who is interested in learning more and joining our family.
